what you might ask, and what glowbug does
what does this error mean?
reads the stack trace on screen, underlines the line that matters and explains it in plain words.why won't this build?
looks at the terminal output, circles the first real error and points at the file it names.where's the debugger in this ide?
points at the run and debug panel in the editor you have open, whether that's vs code, intellij or xcode.how do i undo my last commit?
tells you the command and points at the terminal. you type and run it yourself.where do i set environment variables here?
walks you through the hosting or cloud dashboard, pointing at each menu until you reach the right settings page.what does this function do?
reads the code that's visible and explains it, drawing boxes around the parts it's talking about.
why not just use chatgpt?
pasting a stack trace into a chat works, but you still switch windows and carry the answer back. glowbug already sees your editor, terminal and browser together, and answers by pointing at them.
it's best for getting unstuck and learning new tools. for writing lots of code, a coding assistant inside your editor will do more. glowbug never types into your editor or runs commands for you.
