where copilot vision is better
- it comes with windows 11 and is free, so there may be nothing to install.
- it's live: copilot keeps looking at the shared apps while you talk, so there's nothing to press between questions.
- it can look at two apps at once and connect information between them.
- it fits microsoft's world: edge, microsoft 365 and copilot on your phone.
where glowbug is different
- glowbug works the same on windows, mac and linux, including windows 7 and 8 and older macs.
- it draws more than a highlight: circles, boxes, arrows, underlines and short labels, in the language you asked in.
- save any walkthrough as a link anyone can replay on their own screen.
- it takes one screenshot only when you ask, so it never watches in between.
which should you use?
on a windows 11 pc where copilot vision is available, try it first: it's free and already there. pick glowbug if you're on a mac, linux or an older windows pc, or if you want drawings, shareable guides and the same buddy on every computer you use.
